Whether it’s the release of original material (classics by Dilla, MAW, Pete Rock, Roy Ayers) or it’s various seminal compilations (Disco Spectrum, Real Funk for Real People, Strange & Funky Things) BBE has always been one of those labels I make a point to check for at the record store.
